EMEA Manager Demand & Supply Management
Responsibilities:
Coordinating the Mid-Term Supply Planning, Demand Capacity Comparation and Inventory & Performance MM departments.
Accurate Demand plan based on Sales and operations planning (S&OP) and derived Supply plan through DCC, allowing for the creation of reliable operating plans;
Fully implemented and standardized S&OP process, in collaboration with global process owner and local operational units;
Secured short-term and mid-term supply of internal and external supplies allowing for smooth operations at maximum capacity;
Implement Supervises S&OP process in region, ensuring that global guidelines are followed and implemented in timely manner;
Create accurate demand plans based on S&OP process interfacing with GBUs, Sales, Local Subsidiaries to escalate any issues or provide vital information (., to Procurement);
Execution of demand and capacity comparison, incl. derivation of potential gaps, counter measures, safety stock calculation and simulations for capacity leveling;
Supervise mid-term supply planning (3-6 months) through internal order management and through exchange with Procurement for external supply;
Coordinate alignment process with production planning team to ensure short-term (2-4 weeks) supply of required materials incl. interface with Procurement for external materials.
Education and professional experience:
Studies in a business or technical field or comparable qualification
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the SCM environment
Assertive in an international environment (agile leader)
Digital native
Digital lean and green thinking
High competence in data analytics
Very good knowledge of English, German fine but not mandatory
Very good knowledge of planning and ERP processes – SAP is fine but not mandatory
Experience in international project and process management
Leadership experience
